This post explains how to install a menu for navigating to dashboard accessible from mobile devices.
With the JQuery menu for mobile devices, you can give your dashboard users an experience more suitable for mobile devices to log into Prism Web and navigate to your dashboards.
The library does not automatically make all your dashboards mobile. If you want to do so, you need to give them the appropriate look and feel by choosing the right widgets sizes and positions in the dashaboard.
Here we will explain how to do it in detailed steps.
Step 1 - Download the file called "mobile.rar"
Once you downloaded it, unrar it and place on the following directory on your computer:
Step 2 - Edit the security.config file in the configurations folder of Prism Web
Locate the following line in the file :\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\App_Data\Configurations\security.config
and set the sso variable to true to look like the following line:
Step 3 - Edit the file prismservice.js
Look for the function prismWebServerLocation() in the file \Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\mobile\prismservice.js
and replace the 'http://localhost:8081' in the prismWebServerLocation() function with the address of the Prism Web service of your dashboard if it's not in your localhost
Step 4 - Edit the file dashboards.js
Look for the following line in the file \Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\mobile\dashboards.js

Step 5. Restart your server
Restart IIS or IIS Express, depending on the server that you are running.
Step 6. Clear the data cache from your browser
If you are using Chrome, you can clear the data cache by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete and clicking on the option "clear browser cache".
Step 7. browse to the new mobile site
In your browser type the Prism Web server address followed by '/mobile', for example:
