We leverage Microsoft RDweb to use the Desktop Elasticube Manager (ECM) application. In late 2017 Sisense introduced the Web ECM that will replace the Desktop ECM, however, a minor fraction of the features are still missing in the Web ECM (For example using EC2EC connection or ODBC). To avoid those limitations you're are able to use the RDweb to access the desktop version
How to Enter the Desktop Elasticube Manager
- Navigate to the provided RDWeb domain and log in using your cloud\ credentials
- The Rdweb site is your domain with the port 8443
- It can only be entered using the verified IP's given to us by the client
- Download the ElasticubeManger RDP file by clicking on it
- Once downloaded, you may continue to use the file and are not required to download a new one each time
- In rare cases of Windows update, you will need to download a new file
- Enter the file, re-enter your credentials and allow the certificate
- Mac users will need to download the Windows Remote Desktop application from the app store in order to open the RDP File.
Troubleshoot

- Make sure your network is open to outbound rule to your dedicated Sisense machine on port 8443

- If your IP is not a static IP please mention it in the support ticket
- When trying to open the Rdp file you get an error
- Make sure that you are able to enter the Rdweb site to eliminate possible network issues
- Open a ticket with the screenshot of the error
- Adding an additional application
