Welcome to Sisense Cloud, Sisense’s Cloud is a secure environment deployed in AWS. Server(s) is/are dedicated to a customer. The access to the server is restricted to designated applications only. No other programs/processes can be run on the Sisense server.
Network Configuration
To get started we will need to adjust your network configuration to allow connection to Cloud application and connectivity to your DB.
Outbound rules -
Most companies have outbound open for all, in case you don't allow outbound traffic to the IP's of your designated cloud machine which was shared with you over the intro ticket on the following ports:
- 990
- 8443-8444
- 4000-4100
*In case your office doesn't have a static IP, please request on a ticket to provide you a proxy server
Connection to your Data Base-
If you are planning to connect to a non-web DB such as MySQL, Postgres, AD etc'. We will need to create a network connection between the cloud server to the DB network. Please review our Connection options, if you selected P2P you will need to open your DB firewall to incoming traffic from the Sisense dedicated machine IP on the database port.
Cloud Apps
Now that all network configuration is set lets go over the Cloud apps:
Rdweb - Connect to the Desktop Elasticube. See document.
FTPS - To move files to the server. See document.
Restart Manager - Allow restarting selected services. See document.
