JAQLine Plugin - Visualize Widget’s Queries
*This plugin is officially supported by Sisense. You can find the latest version of this plugin on the Sisense Add-Ons page.
Purpose/Benefits
Note: This plugin requires Sisense V6.6 and later.
This plugin provides a visualization of the queries a widget performs towards an ElastiCube so you can understand which tables participate in the query, and which relationships between the columns of the tables are in-use by the widgets queries.
This plugin can help you troubleshoot your widget by displaying many-to-many relationships, and identify possible causes of slow query performance.
Steps
Step 1 - Add the Plugin
Download the attachment and unzip the contents into your C:\Program Files\Sisense\app\plugins\. If the plugins folder doesn't exist, create it.
Note that If you just created the plugins folder, you may have to restart the web server after unzipping the files.
Step 2 - Activate the Plugin
The JAQLine plugin is available for use by Administrator or Designer users. It will not be visible to Viewers.
In order to activate the Jaqline plugin, click on the menu of the widget, and then click Analyze Widget JAQL.
A pop up window will display the query visualization. Click outside the window to close it.

I'm a bit confused by your image (in the ids/linkages between Patients, Divisions, Rooms and Admissions). Are there just a couple of 'line crossovers' (i.e. should the Patient linkage be shown in the upper right quadrant to avoid this), or is there some kind of 'indirect' relationship stuff going on there, or what?

Hi Alice,
Unfortunately, there's not much more in the way of documentation on this plugin. A many side of a relationship is represented with the infinity symbol. You'll want to look for joins between tables where both sides have the many symbol to help detect a many-to-many relationship. More generally, you can use the plugin to see what tables/fields are involved in a widget. But for most of our customers, the plugin is primarily used as a many-to-many detection tool.

This has been working fine for the last 2 weeks, but now we have the blank window showing for this, but we are on v6.6.
I have restarted the Sisense app pool and IIS, but the problem is still there.
Any ideas what the issue might be?
Update:
Works ok in Chrome, but IE shows the blank page. It may be a setting - I allowed pop-ups but it wasn't that. Will use Chrome anyway. -
Not sure if there are other variables at play but we were unable to email reports with the JAQLine plugin turned on in 7.2, It took some trial and error but sure enough, turning off just this plugin allowed our on demand email reports to work again.
Just an FYI in case anyone else has an issue.

Hi Ahuva,
I had opened a ticket and added the resolution (turning off JAQLine) so the ticket was closed.
https://support.sisense.com/hc/en-us/requests/84484
I was using the "Send me a report now" option with embedded email. The header and footer of the email come through but the embedded report in the body gives the connection error shown below.

David Burke, I just confirmed that we also experience this issue but it only actually occurs when both the JAQline plugin is enabled as well as the dashboard contains a chart from another plugin. The charts that come in the box export fine via email even with JAQline plugin enabled.
I am so glad I came across this comment since I thought I was going to have to disable all of the additional chart plugins since none of the exported. Now with the JAQline plugin disabled, I am able to export these fine.
So for me....
temporary solution: disable JAQline widget
permanent solution: fix JAQline widget to work with plugin charts when emailing (obviously that is not for me to do)
