    Hi Gina,

In the ElastiCube Manager, go to ElastiCube in the top bar, then Change Connectivity Settings. Navigate to your table and click the refresh icon. That should handle most tables. Otherwise, click the second icon to Change source table and again navigate to your table. You can then update and preview your manual query to ensure the newest field is coming in.

    Gina,

After you've refreshed your fields, do a schema changes only build. We have had occasional issues with the schema change build failing and then you are forced to do a full build.

Is there any way to accomplish the same using the Shell (psm.exe) ?

What about a field that get deleted in the source database?

    Hi Carlos,

You can view our PSM documentation here:

    https://developer.sisense.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1409131

There are a few commands to edit/remove fields from tables, but I think they may apply to custom SQL expression tables only. You may have to do a little testing to see if it will work. Certain data source providers have more PSM support than others. Please see the list under "ecube edit", and please note that the full list is for 6.7 only. Earlier versions have more limited provider options.

    Hi Sam,

We went through the documentation and we tried the command 'ecube edit connection refresh'. The context here is, we have a custom functionality that allows the end user to add/remove fields from the source tables ,we need some way to run a Shell command to refresh all connections in one eCube to reflect those changes.

When we run the command is not showing any errors but the changes are not being applied to the eCube.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
