Is your Category (X-Axis) actually a date field? The continuous option only works if it is a true date field

    Ok Ok

X - Axis is a yearweek of a date so it is an int.

    Thanks,

Ok I think that did the trick for missing dates.

But the other part of the problem is related to a new question i asked about joins and null :

i have a rate, of part of happy clients with a file of type A or B on population of clients that find themselves in files A or B.

So when a client doesnt join the dimension files because it doesn't have a file, the division became null / null.

so i have to make it like : if(isnull(cond / cond), 0, (cond / cond))

But it doesn't work because it still displays nothing.

What works from that is if(isnull(cond / cond), [# of uniqu client_id] * 0, (cond / cond)) for example.

    Thanks,

How I have addressed this in the past is to use a data key to create a continual date rate you can work against.

With the date key you can use this to create a formula to create a numerical value that can be displayed in the charts as a continual value

(  (  [Unique Count of Days] ) + (  [Your Existing Metric Calculation]  )  )  -  [Unique Count of Days]

This way you always end up with a 0 Zero value that will be recognised

Thanks and is it possible to put continuous as a global setting or for a whole directory for instance ?

    Thanks,

And as to continue in the same order of idea, is it possible to, as you can 'display missing values as zeros', to be able to 'display missing values as pastweek values'.

For the case of a rsum.

    Thanks,

    T.L.
