    Hi Vusi,

The global scope is relevant per each sheet and not per dashboard. in order to apply a scope from one sheet to the next, you'll need to use the drill to sheet feature, by use of a custom web button. Please see:

Sorted. but can one make widgets in the other sheep to show what the current scope is? E.g

if i have a date member date picker in the one dashboard and also in the second dashboard, when i use the drill to sheets custom web script, i need the date member date picker on the second dashboard to auto select what the scope is from the previous dashboard.

    Hi Vusi,

You will not need to host another date range selector in the second sheet, as it will already have a scope applied to it.

If you would like to enable this, it can be achieved by use of javascript.

Try something like the attached javascript.  It

    • Gets the globally scoped filter values
    • Gets globally scoped date pickers and reformats the date so it work on the destination page.
    • It also, strips out much of the 'noise' in the JSON so the data passed through the URL is smaller.

This works for us.  You might have to tweek the JS a bit.

    Sonny,

I can't get your javascrpit to work, it does apply the global scope filters but does not change the on screen values. any ideas?

Aviad, do you have a formalized js solution?
