    Hi

does this still work for 5.6 or so? CSv is great but straight to excel ... I cannot get it to work, even after IIS reset.

why did it not work even if  i  have  restarted  the IIS?    Is it  related to version?

Not working in 6.2. Are there any log files to look in to provide diagnostics on this kind of problem?

    thanks

    Hello Ding, Gareth,

Please make sure you have extracted the plugin's files under just one level of the PivotCopy folder in C:\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\plugins.

    i.e: C:\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\plugins\PivotCopy  instead of C:\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\plugins\PivotCopy\PivotCopy

    Regards,

    Lian.

    Done that, thanks.

I've got a couple of other plugins working ok, just not this one.

It might relate to restarts - I've restarted IIS from the IIS admin. Anything else to restart?

    regards

Hi Boaz, this looks great ! Howevfer two suggestion :

    1) It would be great to have the option to copy ALL data from ALL pages (this can be a real limitation of pivot)

    2) As it is a plugin, its usage can be uncertain

    Best,

    David.

Same request as David, any idea when we might be able to do full copies for rows exceeding 200? For large downloads it becomes almost pointless to try and page through and do this and make adjustments

    Thanks

Was really excited for a second until I realized it only works for what is visible not all the data. We really need an export to excel feature that just maintains the pivot structure. Our customer keep asking and its hard to say we can do all this great stuff but not a simple export to Excel.

Hope its on your road map!

The formatting and layout of the data in the pivot is not being retained when pasted into Excel.  It is pasting in a single column.  We are still using 5.8.3.18.  Is this plugin known to not work properly under 5.X?

"...increase the number of rows per page according to your needs."

That works up to 200 rows. After that, the pivot widget appears to have a built-in limit of 200. Is there a way to increase this, so we can fit more rows on a page when we expect to need a full export to Excel with formatting?

Hi, I managed to install the plugin, it seems t obe working but I am a bit confused about the result.

    1) Excel regularly crashes when pasting the data, and when it does not, the format is less pleasant than in the dashboard (for instance it is in font type 6pts ...)

    2) Useful elements are not displayed in Excel

    - databars

    - images in the pivot widget

The most important point here are the images. Our customer needs to have an offline copy of the widgets for negotiating purchase, and images are very important given the number of references they manage. Do y ou have a solution ? I tried a pdf printing but it only prints tha first part of the widget (pivot, even only first page, is not printed on several pages), I tried a download image of the widget, but it is a similar problem (I only have the part of the pivot widget that fits into the screen).

Any Idea how I can get a 200 pivot widget with images (so large lines) available offline ???

    Thanks for you help.

In my case also copies to excel in one column. I am using 6.2 version of SiSense.

    Mitchell and David,

We have export to excel on our roadmap and should be available in the upcoming months.

Alin, we'll take a look at it.
