Is there a way to cosmetically change the look of the parameter? Change the font, font size, spacing between the words, or the color of the Reset button?

    Thanks!

I'm getting an error that the widget is trying to use fields from two tables that aren't connected in the ElastiCube.  I've set this up as directed.  By definition the Parameter table cannot be joined to any other in the E-Cube.  Anyone else experience this?

I am running V7.1.  The plugin does not display the default values or give the option to values.  The parameters widget appears to be blank.  Have you got this working on version 7.1?

I'm using this on version 7.2. Love the plugin. I am seeing one issue however - when I first login to Sisense and open a dashboard with this plugin used, the Non Parameter widgets (pivots) get the golden diamond with the error:

      - The widget is trying to use fields from two tables that are not connected in the ElastiCube.

Once I hit the Update button on the parameter widget, they go away and the pivot table is shown. Same if Auto Update is on, once I leave a field, the widgets get updated and  display correctly.

After that it seems to work just fine. Switching away from and back to the dashboard works fine. However, once I log off and back on, the same thing happens.

Hi Elizabeth - yes. It was determined that there is a bug in the API call to elasticubes/metadata and this plugin uses that. If you try any of the the calls that have elasticubes/metadata in the path, you'll see the failure. Unfortunately since it's a bug it seems it will have to be part of a release so I have no idea when that will be fixed. Until then we are holding off on upgrading to 7.2 as it seems that is where the issue started for us.

The plugin has been updated with a fix for Sisense v7.2 and v7.3. Also now it allows to store parameters between sessions

Is the plugin working for v8.0? My problem is that plugin don't recognize the syntax [@p1.value] - the error is: Unrecognized metadata identifier '[@p1.value]'.

    Hi,

We have installed sisense(L8.0.4) in Linux HA. The plugin is not working as expected.

Does the plugin support Linux? or it supports only Windows.

@Robert - I had similar issue when I forgot to remove previous parameters plugin. In Notes section Takashi mentioned that you need to remove those two prior to using this one(you need to delete respective folders in PrismWeb\plugins).

@Robert, I also did not have the other 2 plugins installed, and got the same error when trying to use the parameter within a Pivot.

It worked for me when using the parameter as part of the calculation within an indicator widget, but I need it to work within a pivot widget. If you can get this to work in a pivot please let me know how you did.

@ Robert, based on Michael's comment, I wonder if we have conflicting plugins installed....

@Robert and Robert - I'd suggest deleting all plugins except for this one to verify any possible conflicts. If it works, then add remaining plugins back, in some other cases this approach helped me to resolve some issue. It works for me on Pivot as well, so maybe there is a conflict with other plugin modifying Pivot? Do you use any custom JS on Pivot? In any case it might be good to rise a ticket with Sisense.

I'm trying to use it in a line widget.  the parameter is recognized and usable until I add an x-axis value.  Also it's not getting updated when I change the value in the parameter widget.

I removed all plugins and tried it again.  No luck.  I do have a ticket in for this.

we are running v 5.8.1.29 in Production.  The plugin does not work on this version.  We have a development environment set up at 6.2.5.115.  I've tried it there and it doesn't work.  The good news is that this plugin doesn't work consistently from the older to the newer environment.

@Karl,Tom - you have to add given parameter as SUM first in the formula editor, then right click on it in formula editor and rename it to [@fieldname.value]

Can the input parameter be used for Text values?

I would like to use an input parameter to allow for dynamic measured filtering, allowing the user to enter TEXT into the input which will then take on the value of the measured filter.

Not sure if there is a better way.

    Any thoughts?

@Ahuva - that one will do it for you - https://support.sisense.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/221225128-Filtered-Measure-Plugin-Parameters- please mind that you combine it with this one, as Takashi mentioned in the notes.

    Hi Dimitri,

I can confirm this plugin is working on version 6.7 just fine.  If you haven't already done so, can you try restarting your IIS?  On the server, you can open up the command prompt as an admin and just type iirseset
