The regression line is not rendered in the PDF export.  Appears in preview, but is not present in actual pdf file.

    Jay,

Looks perfect. I should get a straight line on a log-log scale and that is exactly what I get. My customer will be very happy.

    Thank you, Jim

    Jay,

When Value Labels are enabled for the chart, they also show for the trend line. Is there a way to turn them off for the trend line? Also, is there a way to change the color of the trend line?

    Thanks, Doug

Does this plugin work with v6.6?  The menu options are present, but no regression line is presented for any selection (linear, binomial, etc.).

    Thanks,  Jim

Just realize if i save the widget, the regression line appears in dashboard view mode.  Once I do that the regression line behaves as expected in widget edit mode.  Must be an event trigger thing.

Is the Log regression in the menu the same as Excel's Power Model regression?   We have a customer asking for a Power Model regression.

    Jay,

The regression script library listed a Power Law regression.  That is what we are looking for.  Can you enable it as a menu choice in the plugin?

    Thanks, Jim

    Jay,

Any joy with the Power Law regression?  Our customer is coming in next week.  I would love to be able to show this to him.

    Thanks, Jim

    Jay,

Have been working some more with the Power Regression fit.  I've noticed that as the sample size drops off the result is very skewed from what we would expect.  In our example, where we are looking at data across many power plant units, when we select many plants/units we get the type of regression line slope expected.  When we select fewer units

, the line no longer appears to be a valid Power Law regression line.  See the attached screen shots.  Any ideas?

    Thanks, Jim

    Jay,

Any thoughts on what the issue is here?

    Jay,

Just a quick followup.  I was playing with this today and it really does act strangely.  I thought the tipping point where the regression looks incorrect was at 8 units, but with different unit selections I'm able to go all the way down to 5 units.  Then I was unable to replicate the behavior.  It's almost like something is not firing when it should.

    Jay,

Have a triuble with trend line, using it with scatter chart and filterWidget.

Filter consists of "break by elements". After I select in filter "no selection" - all scatters are good.

after I select in filter the "break by" element, scatters dots disappear.

After applying the same value of filter at the second time, dots appear appear again.

    Thanks for your reply,

    Denys.
