    One more thing to keep in mind is that the Chromecast only has a 2.4GHz antenna so if you are operating in an area with a lot of interference in this band the Chromecast will drop the connection sometimes.

    Thanks for this post Joseph. It is very helpful. I came across dashboardrotator's desktop app which lets you specify a list of URL and display time etc. Could you use this in combination with the script in your article to have a screen that rotates through a list of your dashboards and other site and news feeds?     FYI - The new Chromecast has a 5 GHz antenna which will greatly reduce interference and make your dashboards display with fewer drops in the connection.

    Hey John, I don't believe a screen rotator would work with the chromecast's tab casting ability but can't say for certain.
