I got the same error, I need help to fix this. Sisense can't be installed and yet I've followed the installation tutorial

I have seen something similar when I didn't have administrator permissions. Our IT team has some folders (e.g. Program Files, etc.) locked down on servers, so they had to change a group policy to allow me to run the installation. Make sure you run the install with "Run As Administrator".

I run the install with "Run As Administrator" but the error persists

I would open a support ticket with Sisense. If you get a resolution, it would be great to post it here for others to learn.

Also it would be good to go to Program Data/Sisense (folder should exist even if Sisense install failed) and see for any logs from isntallation that might yield a reason. Also check Event Viewer on Windows, it can soemtimes give a hint on what is wrong. In my experience it is, as Malinda suggested, access issue or you might be missing some IIS components. Also this can happen when upgrading, and usually next retry should go through.
