You can just change the name of the .ecube file and then open it in the editor and rebuild the cube.  This is using the traditional editor, not the web version. I'm not sure how to do it in the web version.

If you have a high availability infrastructure and are using Orchestrator to build, be sure to also rename all of the references to the cube in the Orchestrator configuration.

I am in the same boat.  Didn't have a good naming convention for the Sisense as a new user.  Still a new user (few months in) and would like to rename.  What are the step-by-step instructions on how to do this in edit version?  Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure there is a way to do it except go the Elasticube server, edit the cube, save the cube as a .ecube file, rename the .ecube file, open the new file and build it. Then go to each dashboard and change them to use the new cube.

You could duplicate the cube & rename, then delete the original.

Many have asked for a simple rename function for a LONG time.

When will this be available?  I was told this would be added "in one of the future releases".  This is very much needed.

I recently submitted a ticket about needing to rename a web ECM built cube and received the following from Support:

Unfortunately, there is no way to rename an Elasticube in Sisense. Basically, you save the schema file (.smodel or .ecube) with a different name and after that rebuild it in Web or Desktop ECM. In this way you are creating an identical copy of the same cube, but with a different name.

I was told to export the cube and re-import it with a new name. There needs to be a simpler way to do this!
