Dynamic slider Heat Map
Download link
Introduction
I have created a heat map where it contain a slider on the bottom. The slider the bottom are able to select range and show related field within that range.
Purpose/Benefits
The area chart and line is mainly serve the case of displaying temperature ranges vs dates. Chart allow simple design such as point indicators, labels and temperature labels.
I have took this from echarts and created a sisense version for our end user to explore.
How to Install and Configure the plugin
Step 1 - Add The Plugin
Download the attachment and unzip the contents into your C:\Program Files\Sisense\app\plugins folder. If the plugins folder doesn't exist, just create it. After those files have been unzipped there, you may also have to restart the web server. Now, when you create a new widget the Temperature Range Chart should show up in the list of options
STEP 2 - CREATE THE CHART
On your dashboard, click the Create Widget button and select Advanced Configuration. Next, select the "Temperature Range Chart" plugin from the drop down list.
- X-axis: x-axis value of the heatmap
- Y-axis: y-axis of the heat map
- Value: Value you wish to display within the heatmap
Design: The design component allows you to turn on and off the label.
Tips: Within this plugin, it is best to show 8-9 items per axis as too much items will cause the axis to fused together. It is the most helpful when is showing limited relationship between the 2 axis and value.
Feel free edit anything within this widget!

Hello:
We have been having significant Sisense problems recently with our Jump to Dashboard plugin not working and our automated dashboard e-mails containing error messages about dashboards not being able to connect to their respective elasticubes.
As part of our two day diagnosis of the two problems we were instructed to change the directory of our plugins folder on the C drive (C:\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\plugins) to plugins1 which solved the e-mail problem but deactivated all our plugin functionality, so this is not a viable option for end users who use plugins.
We then de-activated all 21 of our Sisense plugins except Jump To Dashboard and things reverted to normal. We subsequently turned on each of the other plugins one by one and checked functionality every time.
However when we reactivated heatmapslider (the Dynamic Slider Heat Map plugin that I downloaded from the Sisense website), both our problems reappeared. We have since kept it deactivated because it clearly interferes with the performance of our dashboards which is a shame because it is a useful feature to have.
Has anybody else had the same experiences with this heatmapslider plugin? I hope the problem(s) with its code can be fixed because I would like to have it available for use in the future.

Hi Cushrow, sorry you are having this issue with the plugins. I also have over 20+ plugins and it did not affect my environment. I would like to further diagnose this issue if possible, Is it possible for you to send me an email at Donald.Lui@sisense.com, I would like to re-create the issue on my end

Hi Donald,
Is this plugin supported under 7.2.1, I am having problems with it not installing, the new widget doesn't show in the drop down where you select a widget. I have added multiple at the same time, could that be the case? did you have any issues it conflicting with other plugins?
Thanks,
Pawel
