I think google SSO is broken, and the password requirements for a regular account are so bizarre I had to dig out the validation regex to figure out why my passwords were being rejected.
For anyone else who is getting stuck, the full requirements are as follows:
- 8 or more characters
- 20 or fewer characters (uh, what?)
- At least 1 uppercase
- At least 1 lowercase
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 "special character"
The gotcha is two-fold. Firstly the "special characters" are: ! @ # $ % ^ & *
Secondly, you must not use any characters other than the above. Spaces, hyphens, brackets, parenthesis etc, will not validate.
I realise this is ZenDesk, but you have control over the password requirements, and I would recommend relaxing them a bit, or getting ZenDesk to implement regexes properly.
