    Maxime,

I'm facing the same issue. Have you heard from Sisense support on this issue?

    Hi Roopa,

I did not sadly. I came to the conclusion that it's a poorly designed column on our end. We don't have that much data when I check the size in SQL (although some cells are massive), so I figured it's a problem coming from the index on the column.

The index on this column seem useless since we search by CONTAINS. I plan on removing it entirely after internal test.

I will probably contact support in order to see if there is a way to see that problem coming instead of reacting to it though. I will update the thread if I have any news.

@Maxime, thanks for your reply. We didnt have any indexes on this column, its a varchar(40) i think in our sql server and while its not extensive, the column size must have gotten larger for 305mil+records which is where we got the problem.

To take care of this -

    1. We broke up the table in 2 halves with different columns in each. This helped resolve the problem.

    2. The simplest solution - bringing this column as a dimension table and joining it on a key helped resolve the problem in the cube.

    Hope this helps.

P.S --> I would still like to find out how to see column size of any column in a table in the elasticube. If anyone has answers I'd appreciate you sharing that info here.

I get this same problem, however, my error doesn't tell me what the column name is. Instead, my error tells me 'The text column N\A exceeds the threshold size of 4GB.'

This is weird to me because I have no N\A columns in any of the tables in my cubes, so I'm not sure what to do.

    Anyone else get that?
