How do I apply pending changes?

    Hi Bruce,

Could you tell us where you are doing the cube builds? Are you doing the build in the Web ECM or the Desktop ECM?

The reason I ask is because currently Sisense does not sync the cubes post build between the Web ECM and the Desktop ECM. The schema between these two are keep in separate places and not shared among one another.

As such, successfully building on the Desktop ECM should not update (and thus remove the changes pending banner) on the Web ECM, because it doesn't affect that schema at all. As such we recommend to performing all builds on the same platform.

Going back to the core issue - if you perform a build on the Web ECM do you continue to see the "Changes Pending" banner post-build?

    Thanks,

    Thanks for the reply Katie.

RE: "Are you doing the build in the Web ECM or the Desktop ECM". I did both and still see the message.

Is no one from Sisense going to answer this?  I have this problem as well, and no documentation on how to precisely find the cause for this message displaying.

I have a slightly different question to the above, but it's related to how pending changes are managed in Sisense.

How do you reset/discard pending changes in the Web ECM?

    Regards
