I have embeded my dashboard and i want to default my dashbpoard view to last month that is dashboard should show last month data when it is comes for the first time. I am using filter widget for my date filed and i have selected last month in my view but i am unable to see it as default selection. Is there any way to default my dahboard to particular filter.

Hi,

Please select last Month and set as default filter in dashboard.So,that the user can see the data only Last month as a First View.If the user needs for upcoming months ,the user can select the Months.

Hi Praveen

I tried that but it is not working i am using embeded view and i just passed a parameter r= false in my url as i sholud not give all filters control for my end user. But i am using filter widget plugin to give filter control to my end user in which i am using year & month filter and selected this month but when it is in embeded view it shows all months data.

Hi Sunil

Let me know if you found a work around for this .

We have a similar setup with Filter widget showing Year and Quarter . We want our dashboards to load with the top Year and it's Quarter from the attached elasticube - no change in the value options and their count, just what's pre-selected.

Not exactly a case of using 'Set as Default Filter' because #1 the data refreshes monthly , and #2 same dashboard is tied to a different elasticube(with different data being the top) when deployed to production .
