That's a good question that I would like an answer to as well.

If you're jumping from a chart or indicator widget, you can put the filters inside the widget (with 'include all' if necessary). But that's not always an option for me because in some dashboards I offer jumps from text widgets

Or you can use widgets like the Custom Filter widget on your target dashboard to put the filters on the dashboard itself rather than the sidebar.

Hi, it's possible to merge the source and target filters when jumping with the following settings:

What is more, parameters that Avi mentioned can be setup on per widget basis, so one widget can overwrite filters, while others won't.

Since that screenshot is from the plugin config.js file it is a plugin level setting that would impact all the dashboards . Anyway to make it dashboard specific ?

    Hi Anjali,

you can do that by editing widget script from which you execute Jump To. Please see here - https://support.sisense.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/221225408 - scroll down to JS code: section at the bottom of the article. List of parameters is available here -https://www.sisense.com/marketplace/jump-to-dashboard/ under Technical details tab. Hope it helps.

    Regards,

    Michal

    Hi Michael

I did check out that link before my last post but couldn't  map it out. Is it the 'excludeFilterDims' that you are referring to ?

If I remember correctly the last time I tried it I ran into issues because I didn't have the DIMs in the dashboard I am jumping from to  add to the exclusion list.

You can include the actual parameter and the new value (so 'mergeTargetDashboardFilters:true' ) in the dashboard script the same way you can include  'displayFilterPane:false' or any of the other configuration options given in that article.

For me probably tweaking the default settings is enough, thanks both for the information.
