    Hey Haya,

    So I don't know about changing the top values off the top of my head but you can make the section below the grey bar on the tool tip (the part listing the date in your example) say anything.

    widget.on("beforedatapointtooltip", function (se, args){
    seriesName="SeriesName";

    if (args.context.pointScope.series.name==seriesName){
          args.context.category = "Whatever"
    }
    })

    - Be sure to change series name to the title of the value column

    Here is a widget script for customizing the tooltips:

    widget.on('beforedatapointtooltip', (el, args) => {
    args.context.points[0].seriesName += ' THIS IS A SPECIAL VALUE - SERIES NAME AREA';
    args.context.points[0].value += ' THIS IS A SPECIAL VALUE - VALUE AREA';
    args.context.category += ' THIS IS A SPECIAL VALUE - CATEGORY AREA';
    });

    Hope this helps!

    Best, Elliott

    is there a way to modify this code so that each point on the line chart has different information coded in?

    Hey Karen,

    Sure, it just depends on what exactly you mean. What data would you want to add that would change for each point?

    For example, I have 3 Values in the Bar Chart: Grant Value, Revised Value and Estimated Value for the period 2017, 2018, 2019.

    For each bar representing the Grant Value, I would like the stock price at grant issue to show. (i.e. on the 2017 bar tooltip, it would show 2017 - $xx.xx on the 2018 bar tool tip it would show 2018 - $yy.yy etc.) Then for the Revised Value, I would like a specific percentage to show for each year...

    Hey Karen

    So the issue is that the tool tip can really only see it's values. It can't see outside values. So it knows it's value and dimension and from that you could put some custom calculation in. But if you need to pull in data from outside sources to do the calculation, I'm not sure of a great way to do it.
