How do I set a specific month and year using blox filter action

Hi, 

I struggle to add Specific year and month to a filter using blox. I don't want an offset, I want a specific member to be selected from a date dimension. Also, if you use a filter by dimension, which one do I use, the one created by MetaAlias plugin or the original from the model? Can I set it on dependent filters?
