    Hi Karen,

Are you referring to the custom import query when adding a new table? If so you will need to use the syntax of your base data source, and not Sisense EC syntax. The syntax may change between various DB vendors.

Another option would be to import everything, meaning, no custom query, just SELECT *, and then perform your manipulations once in the EC. That way you can use standard SIsense EC syntax.

LMK if you'd like any further assistance, feel free to reach out,

    Hi Ido!

I'm trying to create a custom table.  The connections have already been created and is accumulated daily.  I created a custom table to identify distinct dates, customers, locations, accounts and balances. Next, I created a table to get the totals of each customer by location and date.  This is the table that I'm trying to identify which location has the largest totals.

What is the the standard Sisense EC syntax that I should use to perform the calculation?
