(New to this, not sure if this is the right spot.)
So... we have a snippet of code in one of our widget extensions that attempts to delete some of the widget's DOM elements after the widget has been rendered. It works fine in 7.2 and chokes in 8.2, which is not a big deal, actually.
However, in debugging this, I discovered the embedded widget script has the widget id hardcoded, and I'm not sure this is necessary.
Can I trust this property not to go away?
Why is Widget._id not the same as Widget.oid?
