Custom filtering

Hi there,

I´m wondering if somebody knows how can I use a widget filter dependant on a dashboard filter.

For example. 

Inside the widget having an advanced filter with a between clause like 

date between '2020-01-01' and 'dashboard filter' Would it be possible?

I'd like to this for some YTD widgets.

Selecting the month. I should be able to see from January to July
